As part of Temple Elementary School’s Halloween festivities, the students were taken on a story walk featuring “The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything”, by Linda Williams, illustrated by Megan Lloyd.
Along the path, the students found the same items that were in the book; boot, pants, a shirt, gloves, a hat, and a pumpkin head. By the time the students arrived at the front of the building, the items had made themselves into a scarecrow that was protecting the garden.
